Killed in Self-Defense. Negroes Engage in Bloody Fray at Oskaloosa. Oskaloosa, Iowa, Jan. 14--Marion Thompson, a restaurant keeper at Buxton shot and killed Howard Burgess last night. Burgess attacked Thompson with a knife and the shooting was in self-defense. Burgess was recognised as a bad man. Both are colored.
