“ A meeting of the Bar Association of the Pecos Valley was held in the Roswell Court House on Tuesday evening. W.C. Reid was elected chairman of the meeting and W.S. Moore secretary. A motion was made and carried that the Bar endorses Judge A. A. Freeman of Carlsbad for judge of Sixth District.”
